Pastor Corey Harris
Pastor Corey Harris has been called minister, elder, evangelist, and prophet all his life, even before receiving the Lord as Savior. He is an anointed powerful vocalist and preacher who has truly been called by God. Just as the Lord called Jeremiah from the womb according to Jeremiah 1:5. God also called him. The lord then gave him an awesome experience like Samuel. According to 1 Samuel 3., God calls his name 3 times and in the same way God called him. On that Sunday to render his faithful service at Leland Missionary Baptist Church, the Lord redirect his footsteps to confirm his very experience. Corey later goes to a small store front church with a direct order from God. A dynamic Woman of God began to speak a life changing word into his life. She begin to confirm that experience and encounter with God. She declared that he would be a Mighty man of God and would be sent to the nations as prophet. She began to impart and establish an apostolic anointing.
Pastor Corey became a member of Greater Outreach COGIC where he received a biblical incite of God's infallible written word of God. He was a faithful member. Pastor Corey served as praise and worship leader, youth leader, and pulpit chairman. He also was an active worker in the evangelistic department of Great Lakes First Jurisdiction under the leadership of the late Bishop Walter E. Bogan.
He received the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 12 but was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit at the age of 18. Pastor Corey surrendered all and answered his calling on September 28, 2002 . On November 12 , 2006 at Greater Works Deliverance Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Dolores Tate, He preach his trial sermon titled " the time is near" mark 13:28
Born and raised in the city of Detroit to parents Lawrence Pickens Joyce Harris. Both are deceased. Pastor Corey is 1 of 5 siblings.
In the midst of losing both parents I gained purpose. You can't have purpose without pain. My quote is " purpose people go through purpose things." I almost gave up, but God said live and declare the works of God.
Later in 2004 God releases him from Greater Outreach COGIC on purpose. The Lord directs him to Rushing Mighty Wind COGIC under the leadership of Superintendent Jimmie Rushing where he was a faithful and active member. Pastor Rushing saw the hand of God on his life and he would love to see God use him. He would allow him to pray and minister deliverance to those in need.
In 2009, the Lord set him up on purpose and sends him to More Excellent Way Cathedral under the leadership of Apostle Robert E. Hogans Sr. and Co Pastor Janice Hogans. The Lord spoke to the pastors and said that he was going to send a young married youth pastor and it was so. On June 13 2009, Pastor Corey Married the love of his life Leandra Harris. With that union one child was born Caleb Harris. Pastor Corey then received His Elder licenses and became the youth pastor. Many souls were saved and delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit. The youth ministry grew rapidly. Friday night live was established and it was powerful. Then the lord opened up a few doors and in the revivals many would come and witness the power of God. Then an evangelist missionary from Jamaica came and was blessed. And with that connection a door was opened to the nation which formed a mission ministry "destiny on purpose food ministry." They serve food and give cloths to the people. Deliverance services are held and street ministry is done. Through these outlets of the gospel, many by the hundreds has gotten saved. Miracles are performed, bodies are healed, and lives are changed. To God be the glory.
In 2014, the Lord spoke to Pastor and said "behold I will do a new thing according to Isaiah 43:19." He also said "I will send you to a new land according to genesis 12:1." March 2014 Pastor stepped out on faith and started Destiny On Purpose Deliverance Church where it is currently located on 10626 W. Chicago Detroit Michigan 48204.

This apostolic ministry was birthed in prayer in 2008 . This ministry is a station of identification. It teaches how to identify your potential in the kingdom. Also teaches how to utilize your gifts in the spirit of God. This is a birthing, motivating and strengthening church. Where everybody is somebody.
My vision is to see the believers shift and move into destiny with the AUTHORITY OF THE HOLY GHOST, being an atmosphere changer, causing everything to come subject to the charged Jesus that lives in us.
